Folly Finishing

Back in September last year, we had some final work done to render the outside of the Folly - just leaving the job of giving it a coat of paint.  And with the last couple of days being fine and sunny, it was time to tackle that job, before another winter passed us by.

So here we are . . .

. . . one Folly with a nice bright white finish - long may it last :)

Keeping Busy

So Martin has been a 'man of leisure' for a few weeks now (having taken redundancy), and is keeping himself busy:

Stripping back and repainting the gates, and other bits of garden woodwork . . .

. . . tidying up in the garden itself . . .

. . . and painting the house, inside and out.
He's already beginning to talk about going back to work for a rest!

Quick Lick of Paint

Continuing our domestic works, time to finish sprucing up the woodshed, with a quick lick of paint.

It's all looking very spick and span now - newly white wall and a fresh coating of cuprinol on the woodwork.  We also tackled the back wall of the garage, where the paint was flaking away quite badly.

Another job crossed off the list - at least for this year!
