Peacocks in Powis

Few days off - mostly doing gardening stuff, but did manage a day out to Welshpool, including a visit to Powis Castle.





Quick tour of the gardens, but as the weather wasn't at its best didn't linger and moved on to the Castle.  Still managed to get a couple of good shots of the local peacock population mind you - posed beautifully!

Makes a change from GarageCam, and feathered fly-bys.

Bit of a lucky shot mind you - captured with Martin's camera phone - think it's probably a Hercules . . .

Home Alone

New working arrangements have stationed Martin in Weston-Super-Mare for a few days, which has left me home alone - although I am being sent some very nice pictures of the Somerset coast!
