cough 

To expel air from the lungs suddenly and noisily, often to keep the respiratory passages free of irritating material.

sneeze

To expel air forcibly from the mouth and nose in an explosive, spasmodic involuntary action chiefly resulting from irritation of the nasal mucous membrane.

cold

A viral infection characterised by inflammation of the mucous membranes lining the upper respiratory passages and usually accompanied by malaise, fever, chills, coughing, and sneezing.  Also called common cold.
